A desk chair that slowly sinks in height when ocuppied. How do I fix it.?

The chair has a handle on the right side that allows the chair to go to the height when not occupied. When you're busy for an hour or so, the president refused to its lowest level. I do not see any liquid. Is there some adjustment I can do or to replace the seals? If so - how do I do? find a screw or a chair control is compatible with what amounts to a shock absorber, similar to a car. You did not say how old is the chair, but I think it should be old enough to "shock" of having used. If you set the sink with chair-o-matic or recycle it and buy a new model. The cost of repair, although it might not worth it if you have a great sentimental attachment to it. Find out who made the chair and if you have a website. They can afford or spare parts. If the chair is owned by the company, maybe you can ask for another chair. If yours is possible that under warranty.
